Create and manage schedules for complex projects ranging from printed banners to database-driven websites. Request and secure production estimates from outside vendors. Assist Art Director and Creative Director in execution of creative concepts from the comp stage to the final artwork stage. Occasional html/css coding.

Provide creative services in design of promotional print materials, logo and identity development. Understand strategy set forth by the client and implementing designs to the their satisfaction. Provide web development services to including XHTML, CSS, script editing, and  custom WordPress theme implementation.

Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and execute the development of both print and web materials by managing all aspects of production. Exhibited project management skills by acting as main point of contact with outside vendors. Web projects included e-commerce, online user data verification, user accounts, database driven websites and management of admin sites to control web page content. Showed very strong ability to multitask and work quickly while maintaining attention to detail by gathering content for and laying out 20 School Guide magazines, ranging from 96 pages to 272 pages, within a four month period.

Project Design Manager
University Directories    Chapel Hill, NC, May 2006 – August 2007
Member of a team responsible for the advertisement/layout production and printing of 250+ campus directories and daily planners. Demonstrated ability to manage by leading a team of 8 production interns to create more than 5,500 yellow page advertisements in 10 weeks. Oversaw the production process of 11 publications and assisted with an additional 15. Displayed high level of communication skills through constant interaction with sales representatives, advertisers, school contacts, and printers.
